First things first — Congratulations! You’ve decided to become a volunteer content specialist/writer for Catholic Online School. You’re on your way to making a huge difference by sharing your talents and knowledge with the world. 

As a volunteer writer, you can help produce our STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) courses. But before you get started, there are some steps you’ll need to complete. We’re here to help you on your journey toward becoming our newest volunteer writer. 

Here is your step-by-step guide: 

Send all the below information to -

Please use subject line - Catholic Online School Volunteer Content Specialist/Writer  

Please include evidence of subject matter competency, with one or more of the following:

  • Academic degree
  • Trade certificate
  • Relevant experience 

Also, submit evidence of your writing skills, with one or more of the following:

  • Previously published work
  • A writing sample on any topic of your choosing of 300-500 words.

As an option (this part is not required) feel free to submit evidence of additional qualifications, such as: 

  • Teaching experience
  • Teaching credential
  • CCD Teacher’s certificate issued by the diocese or parish
  • Service as a member of the clergy (deacon, priest, or bishop)

NOTE: Non-Catholic Christians and experts in other fields are welcome to apply too. All quality content will be considered for publication as long as it passes Catholic magisterial review.
